Physical Look, Ports, and Buttons-

The brand new Moto G40 Fusion has got a decent premium look. It is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass from the front and it has a polycarbonate (plastic) back. It has got a selfie camera in center punch-hole design and has got fingerprint scanner at the rear side of the device.

On the right side of the device, you will see Volume up and down button and power on/off button. On the left side of the device, you will see the SIM card tray slot.

On the bottom of the device, you will get a speaker grill, 3.5mm headphone jack, primary microphone, and USB Type-C charging port. On the side of the device, you will see a secondary microphone.

 

Display and Operating System-

Moto G40 Fusion has got huge 6.78 inches FHD+ IPS LCD Display. Not just huge but it is also super fast because of the super-fast refresh rate of 120Hz. This combination makes it ideal for this budget. This display is quite bright. It has the support of HDR 10 which means you can stream any content you like on your favorite streaming platforms on HD.

It has got the cleanest User Interface (UI) because it comes with Stock ANDROID which is based on ANDROID 11. There is no blot ware, no advertisements, and no extra pre-installed apps. This device will give you the cleanest experience available. Not only clean but many customizations are available in this UI.

 

Processor and connectivity-

Moto G40 Fusion comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G which is nowadays very common around this budget. This processor works great in daily usage such as calling, messaging, video conference, swipes/touches or watching any type of content. However, it also performs quite well while using some heavy games or apps such as FORTNITE, COD Mobile, Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, etc. This device is not the best for gaming but you will really enjoy it if you play games on this device.

It is not a 5G phone but has dual 4G VOLTe, Wi-Fi Calling, Bluetooth V5.0 and Wi-Fi 6.

 

Battery and Charging-

Moto G40 Fusion has got a massive 6000mAh battery which will last more than 2 days if used normally but it also can last more than 1 day if used heavily. It comes with a fast-charging of 20W and the adapter is already provided in the retail box.

 

Camera and Features of Camera App-

Moto G40 Fusion has got a triple rear camera set-up. It has 64MP of primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle camera which can also be used as a macro camera and has also got a depth sensor. 

For beautiful and colorful selfies it has got a 16MP front selfie camera in a punch-hole design which is placed at the center of the device.

 All of the camera lenses take beautiful and colorful pictures. The primary camera of 108MP is capable of shooting videos up to 2160p at 120fps. The ultra-wide-angle camera is capable of shooting videos up to 1080p at 30fps. The selfies camera is capable of shooting videos up to 2160p at 30fps.

To make the photography experience much better this device also has a feature-rich camera app. It has got Shot Optimization, Auto Smile Capture, Gesture Selfie, Smart Composition, HDR, Timer, Active Photos, Pro Mode, Portrait Mode, Cutout, Macro, Spot Color, Cinemagraph, Panorama, Live Filter, High-Res Zoom, RAW Photo Output, Best Shot, Google Lens Integration, Macro Video, Slow Motion Video, Timelapse Video, Hyperlapse Video, and Spot Color.

 

Storage Type and Variants, Security, Colours, and Price

Moto G40 Fusion has RAM type of LPDDR4x and ROM Type of UFS 2.1. There are two storage variants which are 4GB RAM 64GB and 6GB RAM 128GB.

For Bio-Metric Security Moto G40 Fusion has got rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature. Both of them work quite fast and accurately.

There are two new, unique and beautiful colors variant, Dynamic Grey and Frosted Champagne.

Moto G40 Fusion is priced at INR 13,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant and for 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, it is priced at INR 15,999.

My Personal Review-

According to the Moto has done a good job by making a budget-friendly all-rounder device. The pros of this device are that, that it has got a 64MP Triple rear-camera set-up, a 120Hz super-fast refresh rate, clean stock ANDROID experience, and a massive 6000mAh battery. The only con is that it comes with 20W charging which takes nearly about 2Hrs to charge the massive 6000mAh battery. These are the pros and cons. Apart from charging speed, this device is the only device that gives you a stock ANDROID user interference. Not only OS but other things also push it up from other devices available in the market in this price range.
