Redmi Note 10 Pro / Pro Max- Hands-on and First Impressions

The brand new REDMI Note 10 Pro and REDMI Note 10 Pro Max comes with 1 Unit of REDMI Note 10 Pro or REDMI Note 10 Pro Max Device, 1 unit of 33W charging adapter, 1 unit of USB type-c charging cable, 1 unit of transparent back case, 1 unit SIM ejection tool, 1 unit of start-up guide and 1 unit of warranty card.

Physical Look, Ports and Buttons-

Both of the devices look exactly same. It is covered with Gorilla Glass 5 from front. At back side of the phone you will get the glass back which is also protected with Gorilla Glass 5. At right side of the phone you will get Volume up/down buttons and power on/off button which play two roles as it is combined with finger-print scanner. At the left side of the devices you will get SIM card slot. At the bottom of the devices you will get USB type-c charging port, Primary microphone and Speaker grill. At the top side of the phone you will get 3.5mm headphone jack, secondary microphone, IR blaster and speaker grill. 

Display, Speakers and Operating System-

REDMI Note 10 Pro and REDMI Note 10 Pro Max comes with massive 6.67 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED Display with super fast refresh rate of 120Hz. This display is one of the brightest and it is one of the beautiful displays in this price range. It is so smooth and you will enjoy watching any type of content on it.

Both of the devices have dual Streo Speakers which makes your content watching activity much better. They are quite loud and qualities of them are near to excellent. 

It comes with Latest MIUI 12.3 with is based on android 11. It contains some advertisement and it cannot be removed easily. It also comes with many pre-installed applications and some of them cannot be deleted by you. However, company has promised to push an update which will allows you to delete those applications.

Processor and connectivity-

REDMI Note 10 Pro and REDMI Note 10 Pro Max is empowered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G. It is 8nm based processor. It works great in your daily task such as call, swipes/touches, watching any content and reading messages. It is also performs near to excellent while playing any heavy games such as PUBG Mobile, Call Of Duty Mobile, Free Fire and Fortnite. The fast refresh rate of 120Hz gives you a boost to your device performance.

REDMI Note 10 Pro and REDMI Note 10 Pro Max come with Bluetooth version 5.1, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi Calling, Dual Band Wi-Fi and my favourite feature IR Blaster.

Battery and Charging-

REDMI Note 10 Pro and REDMI Note 10 Pro Max come with massive battery of 5020mAh which can last up to 2 Days on normal usage and up to 1 day on heavy usage. It comes with super fast charger of 33W which is provided inside of the retail box of both the devices. 

Camera and Features of Camera App

Both REDMI Note 10 Pro and REDMI Note 10 Pro Max comes with Quad Camera Set-up. The primary sensor of REDMI Note 10 Pro is of 64MP and Primary sensor of REDMI Note 10 Pro Max is of 108MP. REDMI Note 10 Pro and REDMI Note 10 Pro Max come with 8MP Ultra-wide angle lens which covers the FOV of 120 degrees. REDMI Note 10 Pro and REDMI Note 10 Pro Max come with 5MP super macro lens and they both also has 2MP Depth sensor in there camera set-up. REDMI Note 10 Pro and REDMI Note 10 Pro Max has 16MP Selfie camera in centre punch-hole design. The centre punch-hole is nearly invisible. This camera set-ups takes excellent pictures.

To make your photography skills best it has feature-rich camera software. It has Night Mode 2.0, VLOG Mode, Magic Clone Mode, Long Exposure Mode, Video Pro Mode and Dual Video.

Storage Type and Variants, Security, Colours, and Price –

 REDMI Note 10 Pro and REDMI Note 10 Pro Max with RAM type of LPDDR4X and ROM type of UFS 2.2

There are three different storage variants in both the devices. They are 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

For your Biometric Security they have side-mounted Finger-Print Scanner and Face unlock. Both of them work quite accurate and fast.

Both of the devices have same colour options. They are Vintage Bronze, Glacial Blue and personally my favourite Dark Night.

The price of REDMI note 10 Pro 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant is INR 15,999, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant is INR 16,999 and 8GB RAM and 128GB variant ROM is INR 18,999. 

The price of REDMI note 10 Pro Max 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant is INR 18,999, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant is INR 19,999 and 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant is INR 21,999.

My Personal Review-

These phones are awesome according to price range. There is rarely some phone which gives you AMOLED screen in this price range but we get AMOLED Screen added with 120Hz of refresh rate. However, these phones don’t support 5G. If you are person who watch more content on phone and do not bother about 5G in your phone you should definitely look for this phone
